Holy Hooley! Irish eyes are smilin' at the massive success of the 2007 Irish Hooley. 3:00 – 3:30 Claddagh Irish Dancers
Dubuque’s own Irish dance troupe led by Ann Schroeder returns to entertain our audience with both soft shoe and hard shoe individual and group dance numbers.

3:30 – 5:00 Sean McRactagan
Sean is a former 20-year recon Marine and now has done a 1180 as a singer/guitarist specializing in pub and patriotic songs. Yeah, you know, the good music.

5:00 – 5:30 Claddagh Irish Dancers

5:30 – 7:30 Wylde Nept
A wildly popular traditional Irish band home grown in Cedar Rapids, Iowa performing a slew of Irish favorites as well and original tunes sure to get your Irish on.

8:00 – 10:00 Gaelic Storm
In 1997, Gaelic Storm was catapulted out of their adopted hometown of Santa Monica, CA by an appearance as the party band in the blockbuster film Titanic. Met by huge crowds on their first tour, the band quickly became a live favorite in the celtic/world music genre by capturing the rowdy intimacy of a neighborhood pub and delivering it to thousands of fans. Gaelic Storm will release their sixth studio album, Bring Yer Wellies, on July 25, 2006, once again delivering their unique acoustic world/celtic sound with original songs crafted so tightly that they may well become standards.

Fiona Molloy – Irish Day on The Mississippi
3 Cruises!!! Times = 12:00, 3:00, 5:00
Having come of age in Derry, Northern Ireland in the midst of the “troubles,” Fiona brings an emotion to her performance as few can do. She is a singer of traditional Irish songs and ballads who can make you laugh one moment and then bring a tear to your eye in the next..

For generations, the highlight of Irish social life was the Hooley. Music, dance, song, good conversation and merriment flowed freely as described in the Percy French song, “There’s a Hooley on in Hannigan’s House tonight.”
